Starter Locs
How your locs will be started, parting (brick, triangle, diamond, rounded).
Comb Coil Starter Locs (traditional-not micro)

Consultation required to check hair texture, length, thickness. Coil method is not for straight hair, and may not be the best for silky/fine hair textures.
- Hair wash included
-Hair is coiled with a comb from root to end of hair shaft with desired parting (brick, triangle, diamonds, rounded)
-This method tends to lock hair the fastest.
-Style provided if desired.

Two Strand Twists Starter Locs

Consultation required to check hair texture, length, thickness. Two strand method is not for straight hair, and may not be the the best for silky/fine hair textures.

Individual Loc Reattachements (Not full head)

-Deposit of $30, need to at least be getting 3 locs repaired if no other services are being booked.
-Must be booked along with another service or appointment will be cancelled.
-For locs that experience thinning in areas and need to be fixed, or locs that have become detached (not a full head reattachment).
$10 per loc, up to 10 locs w/n the hour allotted.

Starter Locs
There are multiple ways to start your loc journey. Comb coils, two strand twists and braids have been the most popular ways. Comb coils will lock quicker but two strand twists & braids can be more low maintenance for some and less frizz. Instant locs done with crochet needles to make a mature loc instantly are a great option for those with loose curly hair or even straight/relaxed hair. Lastly, loc extensions in which locs made with real (or synthetic) hair are permanently attached to your hair with a crochet hook are another option. Many who fear an "ugly" phase on their loc journey prefer this option. Do what is best for you, no judgement!
Retwists & Maintenance
Maintenance for locs should be done every 4-6 weeks. There are multiple ways to handle new growth, the most popular is either palm rolling or comb coil retwist. Another way to perform loc maintenance is to interlock the hair, puling the loc through the new growth in different directions, until it's tightened at the root. The last option is crochet hook methods to instantly lock the roots.
